Play Group, Nursery, Junior KG, Senior KG

The admission process at Primrose Pre-School is simple, transparent, and parent-friendly. It comprises the following stages:
Obtain the Brochure and Application Form either online or from the School Administration Office.
Submit the duly completed Application Form, along with the required supporting documents and the prescribed application fee, either online or at the School Administration Office, within the specified timeline.
The school will review the application and communicate the admission decision to the parents.
Upon selection, parents are required to confirm their acceptance of the admission offer by paying the applicable admission fees and other prescribed charges.
Admission is confirmed by Primrose Pre-School upon successful completion of all admission formalities and fee payment.

Admissions to Primrose Pre School are based on the age eligibility norms. Children must meet the following age criteria to be eligible for admission to the respective classes for the academic year.
Class Eligibility Criteria
Play Group Child should be born on or before 31 December 2025
Nursery Child should be born on or before 31 December 2024
Junior KG Child should be born on or before 31 December 2023
Senior KG Child should be born on or before 31 December 2022
Note: The above age eligibility criteria are in accordance with the revised guidelines issued by the Government of Maharashtra. Parents are requested to ensure that their child fulfils the prescribed age requirement before applying for admission.

The Admission Brochure, Application Form, and the list of required documents can be obtained online or from the School Administration Office.

The completed Application Form, with a recent passport-size photograph affixed, must be submitted to the School Administration Office on or before the prescribed last date, along with the following documents:
Certified true copy of the child's school reports for the last three academic years (wherever applicable).
Certified true copy of the child's Birth Certificate, clearly mentioning the child's name. The Birth Certificate must be in English. If it is issued in Hindi or any regional language, a notarized English translation on a ₹100 stamp paper must be submitted. The original Birth Certificate must be produced for verification.
Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school, including the U-DISE Number, PEN Number, and APAAR ID, for students transferring from schools within Maharashtra. For students coming from outside Maharashtra, the Transfer Certificate must be duly countersigned by the Education Officer of the respective jurisdiction.
For children of Indian nationality returning from abroad, the Transfer Certificate must be duly attested by the Indian Embassy or High Commission. The certificate should clearly mention the child's date of birth, parents' names, duration of study, and eligibility for promotion to the next grade.
For children who are not Indian nationals, a copy of the relevant document, such as a Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Card or Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card, or any other applicable document.
Self-attested photocopy of proof of residence (such as the latest Electricity Bill, Landline Telephone Bill, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card, or Passport of either parent).
Self-attested photocopies of the Aadhaar Card of the student and both parents.
Two stamp-size photographs with a red background of: o The child o Both parents
Medical Fitness Certificate duly signed and stamped by a Registered Medical Practitioner.

Please ensure that the Application Form is complete in all respects and that all required documents are enclosed to facilitate the admission process.

Note: The application for admission will be considered complete only after the payment of the non-refundable Registration Fee and Admission Form Submission Charges by Cash/ NEFT or Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Primrose Pre School", payable at Mumbai.

Admission will be confirmed only upon receipt of all required documents, applicable fees, and the duly signed Application for Admission Form within the stipulated timeline.

Parents' signature on the "APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION FORM" seeks to confirm:
The authenticity of eligibility criteria and all submitted documents.
The financial responsibilities towards the school.
An agreement that they and the child will conform to the rules and regulations of the school in force from time to time.
A consent that although the school takes all measures for the safety and security of students, it will not be liable for any damages or charges on account of injuries sustained by the child during his / her stay at the school, or during field trips and picnics.
A consent for use of child's photograph related to school activities on the School's App, website, brochure, school social media platform, LED display screen and any other publication.

The new academic session of School begins in the month of June and concludes in May. School working days will be from Monday to Friday (Five days a week) with the following timings:

Primrose Pre School offers an optional school bus service equipped with E-Tracking to provide a safe, secure, and convenient transportation facility for students.

The bus service is available subject to route availability, general demand, and on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bus facility is available for limited routes and subject to general demand. Areas are Malad (E), Thakur Village, Thakur Complex, Borivali (E) , Dahisar (E) and additionally Kandivali (W), Borivali (W) and Dahisar (W) Only. Bus charges have to be paid for the whole year in advance.

At Primrose Pre School, all students are required to wear the prescribed School Uniform and Physical Education (PE) Uniform. Students are expected to maintain a neat and well-groomed appearance and adhere to the school's uniform guidelines at all times.
Wearing the school uniform fosters a sense of identity, belonging, discipline, and pride in being a part of the Primrose Pre School community.
Detailed information regarding the school uniform, including the prescribed attire and purchase process, will be shared with parents upon confirmation of admission.
Photograph Submission
After the admission is confirmed and the school uniform has been received, parents are required to submit two stamp-size photographs of the child in the prescribed school uniform against a red background for school records.

The following guidelines apply to the payment of school fees at Primrose Pre School:
Fee Payment: School fees are payable quarterly and may be paid through Cash, NEFT, UPI, Cheque (subject to realization), or Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Primrose Pre School", payable at Mumbai.
Instalments: The annual fees are payable in four equal instalments. The first instalment is payable at the time of admission. From the subsequent academic year onwards, the instalments are due on or before the following dates: o 15 May o 15 September o 15 December o 15 March
Revision of Fees: The fee structure is subject to revision from time to time in accordance with the applicable rules, regulations, and directions issued by the competent authorities.
Late Payment: Delay in the payment of fees will attract applicable late payment charges. For detailed information, parents are requested to refer to the School Fees section under Other Details on the School Website and in the School Almanac.
Security Deposit: An interest-free Security Deposit is collected against any damage to or loss of school property, including library books, computer facilities, equipment, and other assets. The deposit will be refunded, without interest, after adjustment of any outstanding dues, upon completion of the child's education at the school or withdrawal from the school.

The academic session at Thakur Public School commences in June and concludes in May. The school follows a five-day week, with regular classes conducted from Monday to Friday.

The school timings for the respective classes are as follows:

The Academic Calendar and the dates mentioned above are indicative and subject to change. Students may be required to stay back for longer hours on certain days and attend school on select Saturdays for sports and other co-curricular activities. Students of Grades IX and X may also be required to attend school on Saturdays, as per academic requirements.

Other Details

The signature of both parents on the Student Comprehensive Consent Form signifies that they have read, understood, and accepted the rules, regulations, policies, and guidelines contained in the School E-Almanac.

Communication with the School
All official correspondence should be addressed only to the School Administration Office via email. Parents are requested not to communicate through teachers for administrative matters.
All communications regarding a student should clearly mention the student's name, class, and division.
Parents are requested to inform the school in case of any changes mentioned below:

Requests for updating the above details should be submitted through an E-Application from the registered email ID in the prescribed format available in the Edusprint Pro App under E-campus E-Almanac along with supporting documents, wherever applicable.

Parent–Teacher Interaction
Parents may discuss their child's academic progress or behaviour with the Class Teacher or the concerned Subject Teacher during the scheduled Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
Meetings with teachers outside the scheduled PTMs may be arranged only with the prior approval of the Principal.

Student Guidelines
Students of Pre-Primary and Classes I to IV may wear coloured clothes only on the occasion of their birthdays.
Distribution of sweets, gifts, or return gifts to students or staff members within the school premises or on the school bus is NOT permitted.
No leave of absence will ordinarily be granted during the academic term except under exceptional circumstances.
Half-day leave will NOT be granted under any circumstances.
Attendance at all major school events and activities is mandatory for every student.
Selection for school celebrations, inter-school, and intra-school competitions is based solely on merit. Parents are encouraged to motivate their children to participate with enthusiasm and uphold the true spirit of sportsmanship.

Parent Responsibilities
While dropping off or picking up students, or visiting the school for official purposes, parents/guardians must carry their Escort Card and be appropriately dressed in formal attire.
Parents and guardians are expected to encourage punctuality, regular attendance, discipline, and respectful behaviour. Courtesy and cooperation while interacting with teachers and school staff are greatly appreciated.
Teachers of Thakur Public School are strictly prohibited from providing private tuition to students of the school. Engaging any school teacher as a private tutor constitutes a violation of the school's disciplinary policy. Any such instance should be reported immediately to the Principal.
Signatures of both parents are required on all forms and official communications submitted to the school. In exceptional circumstances where one parent's signature is unavailable, the school may accept documents signed by a single parent upon submission of an appropriate Indemnity Bond and/or Consent/Indemnity Letter, as applicable.

School Communication
Parents are requested to check the School E-Almanac regularly and acknowledge all communications by signing wherever required.
Photographs and videos of students participating in school activities may be used by the school for educational, informational, and promotional purposes, including publication on the School App, School Website, School Brochure, Official Social Media Platforms, and other authorized school publications.
Parents shall have no objection to receiving SMS, emails, or other official communications from the school on their registered contact numbers, even if such numbers are registered under the Do Not Disturb (DND) service.

Report Card
The student's Report Card will be issued only after all outstanding school dues, if any, have been cleared.
