For admission in Thakur Public School, age eligibility of the child as per the following table :

The age criteria mentioned considers the revised rule of the Government of Maharashtra.

The brochure, application form for admission and relevant documents can be obtained online or from School Admin Office.

The Application Form duly filled along with an affixed recent passport-size photograph must be submitted to the School Admin Office on or before the last stipulated date, along with the following documents:

• One certified true copy of School Reports of the last three years (wherever applicable).Medium of instruction of the previous school should be English only.
• One certified true copy of the child's Birth Certificate, on which the name of the child must be mentioned. Birth Certificate must be in English. If it is in Hindi or a regional language, an English translation of the same on Rs. 100/- stamp paper, duly notarized must be submitted. Original Birth Certificate must be produced for verification.
• Transfer Certificate, with U-DISE number, PEN number and Apaar Id No. from the last school attended (if the child is coming from Maharashtra). If the child is coming from outside Maharashtra, the Transfer Certificate should be duly countersigned by the Education Officer of that area.
• For children of Indian Nationality coming from abroad, the transfer certificate must be duly attested by the Indian Embassy/High Commission. The date of birth of the child should be clearly mentioned in the transfer certificate. It should contain names of parents, duration of the child's study at that school and whether the child qualifies for promotions to next standard.
• For children not having Indian Nationality (coming from abroad) a copy of relevant document [for e.g. Person of Indian Origin (PIO)/Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card etc.] must be submitted.
• Photo copy of proof of residence (e.g. current Landline Telephone Bill/ Electricity Bill / Voter Card / Aadhar card and passport of parent etc.)
• Two stamp-size photographs against red background of (i) child (ii) both the parents.
• Self-attested photo copy of Aadhar card of student and both the parents.
• Medical Fitness Certificate duly signed and stamped by a Registered Medical Practitioner.

Admission will be confirmed on receipt of the following within the specified date:

• Applicable Fees / Charges / Expenses
• Security Deposit (Interest free and refundable)
• Transfer Certificate from the last school attended*
• Signature of both parents' on Application for Admission Form (*If, for any reason, the Transfer Certificate cannot be produced at the time of admission, it must be submitted on or before the re-opening date of the school.)

Parents' signature on the "APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION FORM" seeks to confirm:

• The authenticity of eligibility criteria and all submitted documents.
• The financial responsibilities towards the school.
• An agreement that they and the child will conform to the rules and regulations of the school in force from time to time.
• A consent that although the school takes all measures for the safety and security of students, it will not be liable for any damages or charges on account of injuries sustained by the child during his / her stay at the school, or during field trips and picnics.
• A consent for use of child's photograph related to school activities on the School's App, website, brochure, school social media platform LED display screen and any other publication.

The new academic session of School begins in the month of June and concludes in May. School working days will be from Monday to Friday (Five days a week) with the following timings :

The Academic Calendar and various dates mentioned above are indicative of plans and are subject to change. Students will be expected to stay back for longer hours on certain days and attend school on a few Saturdays for sports, and other extra-curricular activities. Grade IX and X may have to attend school on Saturdays according to requirement.

TPS has a fleet of buses with E-TRACKING to pickup and drop children, subject to general demand and on first come-first-served basis. Bus facility is available for limited routes and subject to general demand. Areas are Malad (E), Thakur Village, Thakur Complex, Borivali (E) , Dahisar (E) and additionally Kandivali (W), Borivali (W) and Dahisar (W) Only. Bus charges have to be paid for the whole year in advance.

School has a prescribed uniform and a PE uniform for all its students. Students are expected to take pride in their personal appearance and to conform to all rules governing the school uniform. The wearing of the uniform creates a sense of belonging to the school. The details of the uniform will be provided upon admission to school.

Two stamp–size photographs of the child in school uniform against red background to be submitted after confirmation of Admission, once school uniform is received.

• Fees: Payable quarterly: To be paid by way of Cash/NEFT/UPI/Cheque (subject to realization)/Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'Thakur Public School' for Primary and Secondary, payable at Mumbai.
• The fees should be paid in four equal installments. The first installment is to be paid at the time of admission. (from next academic year to be paid by on or before 15th May) and subsequently on or before 15th September,15th December and 15th March.
• The fee schedule given is subject to change from time to time in accordance with the rules and regulations duly notified by the authority.
• Late charges will be applicable for delay in payment of fees. (For details please refer to School Fees section under Other Details on School Website & Almanac).
• The Security Deposit is collected against damage to, or loss of, library books, computer facilities, and other equipment or assets of the School. It will be refunded without interest, after adjustment of dues, if any, on completion of the child's education at/ withdrawal from School.
